Blackwell have been busy - our parent company project updates

Marston Green Bus and Rail Interchange redevelopment scheme for Centro completed.

The upgraded works at Marston Green Bus and Rail Interchange was succcesfully completed on time as part of a Pedestrian Safety Scheme.

Hereford Old Cattle Market

We have completed the preparatory works to the first major retail blocks of the project (blocks A & B) allowing structural steel frames and facing brickwork to commence.  We are currently progressing with the final block and external works to be completed February 2014. 

Whatley Quarry Overburden Project

Blackwell are in the final stage of completing an overburden strip project at Whatley Quarry in Somerset which will open up new phases of the quarry.

Blackwell has successfully completed 12km of footway improvements on North Solihull Cycle Network project

Phase 1,2 and 4 completed with phase 3 commencing July 2013 which involves the construction of complex traffic signal controls and crossings. We are working with Solihull MBC regarding scoping and buildability on further extensions of the scheme.

Maerdy wind farm generating to grid and nearing completion with 8 WTG’s erected.

We are currently in the final process of reinstatement with demobilisation from site middle of July 2013.
